I applied my window film to the window using water, but now white spots are appearing in the film. What should I do?
The white spots are moisture stains. Remove as much of the water as possible with a felt-backed squeegee. Any remaining spots will disappear on their own once the water evaporates.
Help, my window film is full of creases and bubbles, what now?
Window film should be applied with plenty of water. Creases and bubbles can occur if insufficient water is used or if the application is not done properly. However, tiny bubbles can appear if the glass wasn't thoroughly cleaned. This can be caused by dust particles and fly droppings. Static-resistant window film can be removed from the window and reapplied.
Help, my window film keeps coming loose and won't stay on the glass, what can I do?
Make sure you have removed the backing before applying the film to the window.
In cold weather, make sure to preheat the window film to 80-90°C first. You can do this with a regular hairdryer or hot water. This ensures that the film becomes pliable and sits flat against the window.
Can I reuse window film?
Yes, you can remove static cling film from the window and reapply it. It will always retain its static cling.
Can I also stick the foil without water?
No, it will come loose over time.
When will my order be delivered?
Orders placed before 10 PM in the Netherlands are usually delivered the next day. Deliveries to Belgium can sometimes take a day longer.
Can I return my products?
Yes, unused products can be returned within 30 days. Request your return by emailing retouren@homewellproducts.nl , and we'll send you the return instructions.
